Spring

Even Vader sleeps…

One thing we did during Spring Break was we had a “friend day”- the kids each got to have a friend over (plus a few more). We had a day full of crafts, games and lot’s of fun! Below is Carson with his best bud, Degan.

A few of the girls at the “salon” station…this was a hit even with the boys (I told them some of the best hair stylist are men…and they jumped right in after that).

During General Conference (this happens 2x a year in our church- we get to watch/listen to our prophet and many other church leaders speak) we made a “conference garden.” As the speaker talked we would each decide what the main topic of their talk was and write it on a flower then add it to our garden. It was a lot of fun and it is still up- it’s been a great way to continue to talk about what we learned.

“How about some eggs for breakfast kids?…APRIL FOOLS!!!” This year I faked the kids out with these eggs (vanilla yogurt and half a peach) It was a hoot watching their reactions. Graham was the only one that thought it was still good enough to eat, Lucy and Carson were too put off by the fact that it was supposed to be an egg.

You are such a great mom. LOVE the wall and the eggs.

What great ideas. You can also do the fried egg dessert with white cake, top with cool whip and a peach half. But the yogurt does look REAL!
