Our little Lucy Rose has done it, graduated from kindergarten! I'm not sure when this ("graduating" from kindergarten) became such a big thing, but it was a fun day to celebrate all she has accomplished this year, we are so very proud of her!!
This is Lucy with her teacher, Miss Sells. We loved Miss Sells and will miss her dearly! She was SOOO great with the kids, a very gifted teacher, Lucy was blessed to have her!

They played the graduation song, announced each of their names and then walked through and shook hands with their principal while receiving their kindergarten "diploma." (this is all just kind of funny to me, but what the heck...a reason for Todd to take the day off, eat some yummy food and tell our little girl how great she is- pretty cool!)
I love this one, is she not the cutest little thing!? I can't believe she's done and almost 6 and...on her way to full-day school!!! She is soooo excited about being able to go to school all day and eat in the cafeteria and have more recesses. She says she wishes school was all the time with no summer! She loves to learn! I guess I will have to do my best to keep our summer rolling with new things to learn each day...and of course some camping, swimming...etc!

Well, tell Lucy Sterling has 2 more weeks of school(He's not quite as excited as she is though). I love her pretty red dress! Congratulations Lucy.
Best lookin' kindergarten graduate I've ever seen!!!!! Her teacher is pretty cute, too. Why didn't I have a good lookin' kindergarten teacher... O wait, I remember, I didn't go to kindergarten.
