For Christmas Great Grandma and Grandpa Oyama got the kids the softest robes I’ve ever felt! They love them and wear them every night and morning and LOVE to snuggle in them after getting out of the bath. Here they are in front of our tree a few days after Christmas.
Posing in the robes :)
I was in charge of our ward talent show/ New years party this year at church. It was a great success (much to my surprise) with lot’s of fun “talents” and great food! Lucy was the only brave kiddo from our family- she sang Taylor Swift’s “You Belong with me,” and she did a fantastic job!
January means Birthdays in our family! Starting with Graham (the most important!) He turned 3 and helped make his cake complete with things he loves…the color green, tractors, Batman, and random farm animals he found in his toys. He enjoyed opening his gifts and playing with his toys and is growing up WAY TOO FAST!! (anyone know how to stop this terrible trend?)
Graham has discovered “The Piano Guys” (if you’ve never heard of them google it, they are truly amazing), and is in love with their “Cello Wars” – in which the guy plays a cello in Star Wars fashion. In his efforts to mimic them he opted to use his guitar as a violin and his green wand as a bow…next best thing right? So, is 3 years old too young to start lessons? J/K
I am always told there aren’t enough pictures of me on here (it’s hard when I’m always the one behind the camera). The other day I was wearing my favorite hat and decided to snap a picture. I am so glad I decided to splurge a bit on myself while we were at Disneyland, I seriously love this hat! It can be a terrible hair day and then I put my Mickey gangsta hat on and viola- I feel great! Nothing can get me down in my Mickey hat :)
Today we got some snow…some really wet, soggy snow. About 2 inches of it. As the temperature began to rise I hustled to get the kids out in it before it melted all away…here is what came of their efforts to build a snowman. I don’t know about you but I think the cute kids outshine the cute snowman by far!

You and your caps! Awesome. And that picture of Lucy with the robe and FABULOUS socks? So cute!!!!
What an awesome painting! I want to take lessons! You should keep all her work and give them away as gifts!
I would pay money for her art too!! Wow! That is amazing!
I'm trying to figure out how to keep my little ones little too, even my older ones :) I can feel time with them slipping away even faster these days and I'm a tad bit alarmed by that. Loved Graham's cake by the way, how fun!
Such FUN updates!
Holy moly on the art work. That is seriously majorly impressive!!!
Put us on the waiting list for one of Lucy's Masterpieces!
