Sometimes I’m a terrible mom when it comes to pictures and that’s just the way it is. I took all those great photos last year of Lucy’s ballet performance…this year I was lucky to have remembered the camera only to find out later that the battery was about dead. My brain must be on “fried” mode. So, above is the best shot I got of Lucy, our beautiful ballerina (sad I know). Perhaps I’ll ask her to get all gussied up again for some better pictures.
Her ballet class performed at our local town talent show (which we later found out is big enough for people to drive 4 hours to participate in…WHAT?! I was shocked! Cool stuff!) Her group did great and definitely won the audiences “adorable” vote! Again, I apologize for the lack of photos. Actually to really fess up, Lucy also won a “leadership” award at her school assembly this last week- I brought the camera, but that time the battery was completely dead…I just can’t win. I guess I can get her gussied up in her ballet garb and then she can hold her award certificate in her hands for the picture- perfect, two birds with one stone!
