Christmas Day

Christmas day we headed over to Pa & Gramma’s house (Todd’s parents). The bonus of our families living so close together- we usually get to see both when we come, love this! Below is the gift set up before any opening.

This is mid gift opening process, “hello mess!”. As you can see Graham was a tad slow in the gift opening so Carson had to help.IMG_0211 (640x480)

The boys were excited to get many many legos from Pa & Gramma (which have busied them for hours every day since we got home! – LEGOS = a mom’s best friend)IMG_0216 (640x480)

Graham loved Pa & Gramma’s HUGE snow globe that sung Christmas carols.IMG_0217 (480x640)

After gift opening and a yummy lunch we all got ready and went to church. Lucy in her new dress, and Carson & Graham in their new ties ready to go…love the faces! (Graham mad that he’s being told where to stand, Lucy beautifully smiling like she’s being told, and Carson being a goof ball…welcome to our life)

After church more family gathered to celebrate Christmas day together.  We love seeing Uncle Frank, Auntie Lois, Auntie Julie, Uncle Ross, and cousin Stephanie – the kids have so much fun teasing them, playing with them, showing them their new things, and just being with them… being with family is truly the best gift of all! We had a beautiful meal at this beautiful table. Note the place cards- what a clever and pretty idea! IMG_0226 (480x640)

After eating, visiting, watching Lucy dance, and playing games we exchanged gifts with each other. Below is Lucy helping to pass them all out. IMG_0220 (480x640)

Thank you to all who made our Christmas of 2011 special, we enjoyed the people surrounding us more than anything. We are truly blessed!
