Carson begged for guitar lessons for about a year... then my mom found a great deal on a perfect sized guitar for him and there was no holding him back! We could only find lessons for ages 8 and above so we had to get special permission for our little 6 year old rock star to join the class. He's had 4 lessons now and is doing great! Carson picks up new things pretty quickly and guitar is no different... I am always amazed at how quickly he memorizes things- he looks at the music once on paper and plays through it, then ta-da! he never needs to see the paper again... what a kid! I love seeing him in the class with all those older kids... his feet don't even touch the floor so he sits with his legs criss-crossed on the chair- too cute!
