Our normal Christmas Eve tradition of bowling was done a few days early this year while Seth & Michelle and cousins were around to join us. So, Posh came up with a great idea... have a campfire out at the cabin and roast hot dogs... of course... isn't that what you all do on Christmas Eve too?! It turned out great! The kids had a fun time floating boats in the crick, roasting weenies and marshmallows AND we told stories and sang Christmas carols... I think we should keep this tradition!
Later we watched "Luke II" the movie about Jesus' birth put out by our church which is so simple and sweet and yet the spirit can be felt so strongly. Then into jammies...
The kids got to open one gift- they opened the one they got from each other. Above Lucy got Graham a "Jayden" Power Ranger Samurai figure complete with a fire smasher!
Carson got Lucy a knitting tool that knits scarves and things.
And Graham got Carson a complete SPY kit
We ended the evening with a Christmas story read by Posh, with voices for each character :) Amazingly enough the kids were asleep in about 15 minutes!? Hey kids- let's make that a tradition, shall we?!!

So fun. I look forward to seeing that cabin now that's it's done. When we were there it was getting built.
That comment was from me, Karey, not Adam :)
