The weekend before Valentine's Day, Lucy & Todd went on to the annual community Daddy/Daughter Dance. This year they double dated with some friends and the girls wanted corsages. We couldn't believe what the flower shops were charging for those things! Instead I went to the store and bought a bunch of mixed flowers and made a corsage and boutonniere for a little under HALF of what it would have cost... and I had left over flowers to put in a vase and beautify our home- which are still to this day blooming :) Thank you, Mom, for teaching me some florist basics!!
They had a great night, ate some delicious refreshments, danced their hearts out and came home with great big smiles!
