...for the foul language in the song I had playing on this blog this last week. I hope I did not offend anyone, and if I did I am truly sorry.
When I did my last session of blog updating I changed the songs, as usual. I went online and was finding some songs I like. I normally choose ones I know but sometimes I just look songs up by the bands I like. Well, I chose the song "Good Life" by One Republic, because when I first listened to it, it sounded great and I love the sentiment in the chorus..."This has gotta be the Good Life." This seemed very fitting for our blog, I mean I love my life! HOWEVER, after listening it repeat over and over today while I was getting laundry done near the family room where the computer is, I was able to listen to the words more closely. And when I heard a swear word used I was shocked! First of all it is totally not necessary to make that song good, it would actually be WAY better without it, and second I had put it on my blog for everyone to hear when they visited to see updates of our family...how terrible am I?! I do love many songs by One Republic but this one is officially off that list. I am not one who uses foul language, listens to it, or tolerates it, and it saddens me that bands with such talent feel they have to use it in a song...I mean what's the point of it anyway!?
So, please know I will be checking my song selection more closely from now on and this will not happen again...again I am very sorry.

Never noticed anything bad about your song choice, but then again I'm half deaf, BUT at least now you picked a great country classic to lead off your song list.

I didn't realize that Thaddeus and Graham would have been in sunbeams together if we had been in the same ward! Now I shall be sad! :)
I've done that, too. I don't remember the song now, but it had the F-bomb in it. I was grateful to my very honest and funny friend who called to tell me that my blog had just cussed her out. How embarrasing!!!
