OOOOO-SSSSSSSS-UUUUUU!

Carson, Todd and I went to the Beavers home opener this last weekend. Now before you go and say what unfair parents we are only taking one child...the last time Todd went with my Dad (2 years ago) and only took Lucy...so it was Carson's turn, so there :) It was a pretty rainy day in Corvallis, Oregon. We were decked out in the orange poncho's. Although, it wasn't cold with a high of 76 degrees. At one point Carson got too darn hot in his poncho and took it off hanging out in his t-shirt and bare feet just letting the rain get him...it was only sprinkling at that point.

Before the game we met up with my brother Seth and his family. We ate lunch together and went down and let our kids enjoy all the festivities out in front of the stadium. This is Carson sitting in the "OS" race car.

Carson tried on a Beaver team helmet and shoulder pads, they were heeeaaavvvy!

We got our picture taken with the life size cardboard cutouts of the Rogers brothers (stars on the Beaver offense) These two guys are barely taller than me, but man they are crazy good on the field!!

Before the game Beaver family photo. Even though Lucy and Graham stayed behind they still showed their support by dressing in their OSU best! Thank you Pa & Gramma for entertaining them for the entire day while we were away!

Now, the next game is against...I'm afraid to say it...Boise St. Even though we lived a year in Boise we couldn't dislike them more!! The Beavs may very well lose (ssshhh I didn't just say that) but they will ALWAYS be better than those blasted smurf-turf-Broncos!!! regardless of what any scoreboard might read!

After that another home game...and this time Lucy & Carson get to come, yeah!
