Peeing in the night = quite the challenge!!

So seriously not even 5 minutes ago I hear Carson wake up...walk a little...and start to whimper/cry. I walk into the hallway to find him standing in his little brother's doorway with the door open while he proceeds to pee all over the bedroom floor...which is hardwood so the pee is splashing everywhere, and a rather large puddle is forming beneath him. To Carson's defense the bathroom is directly across the hall, but COME ON! Cleaning up pee while trying to do it quickly and quietly so as to not wake the baby is NOT my idea of a relaxing evening! Very funny though, I did have to laugh in the process...ooohhh the joys of parenthood!

Another funny Carson moment came this last Sunday morning. As I was getting ready that morning Carson comes storming out of Todd's and my room and says, "DADDY HAS A DUCKS SHIRT!!" The look on his face was filled with so much shock and disgust it was priceless! He instantly went to get the said offensive shirt to show me. I told him to go ask Daddy about it. Todd explained that he went on his mission in Brazil and soccer is HUGE there! The Brazilian soccer team happens to share the same colors as the Oregon Ducks (our rivals), and Todd bought one of their shirts as a souvenir from his mission. So, "NO" Daddy does not have a Duck shirt nor will he EVER have a duck shirt...that would just be total blaspheme!

No worries Carson. I make that mistake all the time.

It is a sad and funny thing to deal with. One time I found Tyler in the toy closet peeing all over the fire truck. I am not sure if he was putting a fire out or what, but there was a lot of toys to clean after that. I didn't laugh then, but I do now.

Both stories very funny! The second one ringst true at our house. Landon's Uncle Todd is always trying to convince him he's a BYU Cougar fan....we keep trying to tell him that, that's a bad word in our house and to please try to refrain from using such profanity around the children. ;)
