Fall equals…beaver games & pumpkin patch trips

We may live 4+ hours away, but we bit the bullet and bought Beaver football season tickets this year. As fall approached we quickly realized maybe this was not the best year to do this for a few reasons…#1-we are only able to make it to 2 games because of other events, and #2- well if you haven’t seen any beaver football games this year…let’s just say, “it’s a building year.” We were able to sell some games to my brother and some through the web- so it worked out just fine.

Todd & I went to our first game by ourselves this time (even though we do have the extra “youth” ticket), what a fun date! Our kiddos decided that “partying” with Pa & Gramma sounded much more fun. Although, Carson says he’s going to the next game which will be against Stanford (who is quite good this year)…we will make it fun visiting the concessions, giving high 5’s to Benny the Beaver and just being there…instead of looking at the scoreboard (which is bound to make one cry. I know, I know, not a lot of hope coming from this Beaver fan right now).

We had a PERFECT fall day at the pumpkin patch with both Lucy and Carson’s class going together on the same day…yeah for that! The sun was bright and the temp was cool (love the fall in eastern Oregon!). Graham got to tag along and was happy as a clam out there with all the pumpkins (they match his hair quite nicely don’t you think?).P1020080 (640x623) Carson’s best bud, Nathan N. on the hay ride.

Carson's cute smile made me laugh! Reminds me of Daniel.

What a fun idea for a date. We are headed up to Salt Lake on Saturday for the OSU vs. Utah game. We're hoping for the best :)
