June in our family means birthdays, both Lucy and Carson! Carson had a family birthday and we all went to Chucky Cheese and had a blast- forgot the camera though:(
Lucy had a friend party this year and we went to the park for a BBQ and some games.
Here she is with her little buddies.
Right after Lucy’s party we headed off to Caldwell to visit G & G Oyama, and experience our first time to the Obon Festival. Grandma had birthday cakes ready for both kiddos - so thoughtful
Mochi (sp?) the puppy was very excited to see the kids, and after a while she calmed down enough for the kids to love on her :)
We managed to squeeze in a trip to the Boise Zoo with Uncle Alan before heading off to Ontario. The Obon Festival was a lot of fun with dancing, drums, demonstrations, delicious food, and great company!
Graham and Carson thought this HUGE drum was real and just had to run up and try it.
Lucy got into the dancing with Grandma and they both did a great job!
Uncle Alan has a 3-D television, so Todd and the kids had to try it, the glasses sure do look great, don’t you agree?
On a total side note…June also meant new shoes for everyone in the fam. We all got pretty cool ones but my favorites are the ones we picked out for our Graham-ster. His favorite color is green, get a load of these shoes! He looks like quite the little stud muffin wearing them too.
By the way…if you ask Graham what color his hair is he says, “Green,” with a big ol’ grin on his face- this boy will wear, eat, play with, or simply love…anything that’s green!
