Easter +

P1010126

We' had some gorgeous weather come our way during the week of Easter. Lucy found a new love…staged flower gardens. She spends hours gathering different colored flower petals then she makes this creations all around the yard. Her little heart would break into a thousand pieces anytime anyone messed one up in the slightest…so I told her I’d take pictures. This seemed to appease her, so now you all get to see one of her works of natural art :)

The boys just hangin’ out. And yes, Carson is wearing a dress, it’s from our dress-up box and he thinks it’s just too funny, silly boy!P1010131

On the Sat before Easter we were invited to a friends house for brunch and an egg hunt. We were pleasantly surprised with what came next…over 40 people eating the most delicious breakfast yummies and about 25+ children under the age of 12 hunting for over 250 eggs through three people’s adjoining yards…so, so, so much fun! Thank you Harrisons! P1010136

Could the weather have been any better for an egg hunt!?P1010146

On Easter morning we did a little egg hunt inside for the kiddos. I couldn’t not share this photo- Graham was so happy to find his green eggs…this boy LOVES anything green (nobody tell him it makes him look like Christmas with his read hair). After this we went to church and reminded ourselves of the true reason we celebrate Easter, Jesus- his death and resurrection. Then we went over to the home our favorite adopted family…the Walkers. We had a yummy Easter feast and…yep, you guessed it…yet another egg hunt! What a fun Easter had by all.

I love the rock/flower art! How sweet and creative. (Except when I look at it I think of pizza. Time for lunch??)

Wow! Lucy has such an artistic side--nurture that one for sure. Wonderful! Love the photo of Graham with the green egg. His face is precious.

What a fun Easter. Oh ya, thanks so much for all the housing info you put together for my brother. I really appreciated that. I forwarded it on to him. He said he spoke with Bryce (was that his name, can't remember).
