February update

A few days before Valentine’s Day we went out to eat as a fam. Todd says, on the way there, “This is your Valentine’s.” To which I say, “Okay, this is yours too. We’re not getting anything else right?” (we never really do much anyway) He says, “yeah, don’t waste your money.”

Then I come home from my busy Monday to these beautiful daffodils…my favorite flowers! I’d take these over roses any day!! Thank you honey, I love them and you…but you CHEATED!

As many of you know or have heard, I got in a teensy weensy fender bender last month and since we had a relatively “old” van it was deemed a “total loss” by the insurance. So we took the money they offered and used it as a down payment on a new van.

It’s a certified 2008 Honda Odyssey with 47k miles (that’s for all those guys out there that want to know that kind of stuff). We love it! It has all the normal stuff like stow & go seats (which is pretty cool) and the middle windows roll down (which is the kids’ favorite feature). Todd said after buying it… “We can tell Lucy we just bought the car she’ll get to drive when she’s 16.” Won’t she be excited about that when she’s in high school? :)

Lucy and Todd went on a date this month. they tried the local roller rink and it turned out to be pretty fun!

Graham’s latest favorite thing to do is…moving all the chairs around to form different things; a train (pictured), a house, a bed, a bus… you name it and he can build it with chairs…or so he thinks.

  I just couldn’t resist these two sad shots. I can’t recall why either one of them was crying (it was weeks apart), all I know is that when it was happening I was overwhelmed at how downright cute our kids are… even when they’re crying. Carson was NOT happy that we took this shot, and he’d probably hate it if he knew I posted it on the blog, so…sssshhhhhh…it’s our little secret :)
