Randomness…

Here’s a few pictures from the last month or so. “Randomness” is a new word in our house introduced by Todd.

Todd’s parents came out to watch the kids in our annual primary program at church. Lucy said her part beautifully and sang all the songs beautifully too! Carson…well, well, well…let’s just say we may have a “class clown” on our hands. About 5 seconds after getting into his seat at the front of the chapel he began to untie his shoes. Then he proceeded to tie them together. When it was his turn to go up to the microphone and say his memorized part, he had to waddle up- because his shoes were still tied together. The adult there to help had to lift him up to the microphone since he couldn’t walk up the little step stool. Then he took one look out over the congregation and smiled, then shook his head back and forth as if to say…”uh-uhhh, you’re not getting me to say anything up here in front of all these people.” He was helped back to his seat (since he couldn’t walk with his shoes like that) and he sat down and smiled…like he’d had it planned just that way. The little turkey! Later our primary president told me he was making them all laugh up there and she just had to keep looking away to keep herself from laughing out loud!

We caught a free tour of the Pendleton Woolen Mills. Graham found his new best friend there, too bad the sheep wasn’t for sale…it would have made a great Christmas present :)

P1000393Graham has found a new favorite spot to hide out…in the cupboard doors. P1000397 One morning after getting the kids all breakfast I left the room for a minute and when I returned Graham had found a new spot to eat cereal…behind the recliner, of course!

P1000410 It’s not often that I include a picture of myself on the blog, and I have been chastised lately for not doing so. So here ya go…I got a new haircut. When I like a haircut I try to go home and take a few snapshots so I can show any stylist later what I like.P1000435 Carson’s chosen outfit the other day…he sure comes up with some great ones!P1000442

Thanks to a clever friend’s idea, we started a new tradition this year. Our “I am thankful for…” turkey decorated our walls during the month of November. Every night we’d each think of something we were thankful for, write it on a feather and glue it on our turkey. On Thanksgiving we read them all out loud. It was a great way to count our blessings and we can’t wait for the next one:)
