Monkey see, Monkey do

Pa and Gramma gave Carson a monkey stuffed animal for Christmas and he fell in love with it! It seems to go everywhere he goes...to bed (of course), the library, to school to pick up Lucy, the grocery store, restaurants, friends houses, and even to church a few times. He even takes it into the bathroom when he needs to go, he props it up on the stool by the sink while he "does his business." When I told him this was maybe not a good idea he replied "But Momma, he needs to go potty too" - I gave in and told him only on the stool (such a push over, I know). Our kids have never been real attached to toys or blankets until now. Graham and Lucy are also VERY attached to the bear and dog that Pa & Gramma got for them...they are super soft which may be the reason OR maybe it's the giver that counts :) at the breakfast table

love the monkey. My kids have always been attached to their blankies. They gotta have something.

What happens if Carson loses his monkey or it wears out? Pa thinks you need a back-up! Hmmmmm Lucky you (actually, Carson)'cuz Gramma bought the last one at Macy's the other day. So maybe we'll bring it up in May and you can switch it in 'n out and prolong the monkey's life. Unfortunately no black dog, but they also had a bear left.
