That's right, we've been married for 10 years now! I know, I know, we look so young :) (or at least I like to tell myself that). This year on the actual date of our anniversary we were camping with the kiddos...not exactly romantic. So we decided to go to the coast for a few nights and leave our kids with my parents before Todd started his new job. We didn't have the greatest weather but we caught a really warm sunny hour or so and we got in lot's of shopping at the outlet mall...for ourselves! This is a new concept for us, we always shop for the kids and never for us...this time Todd said as we stepped out of the first store, "new rule this time, no shopping for the kids." It was so fun! At the end of the day we did break that rule as I remembered Lucy and Carson both needed new jammies and you just can't get better sale prices. We got to sleep in, see two movies, shop, and eat out at some delicious restaurants! What a great way to celebrate 10 years! (above is the view RIGHT outside our room, sa-weet hotel! only steps to the beach!)

While we were away the kids were having a blast at Posh & Gramma's house. They rode the pony and the horse, tie-dyed shirts, played endless hours with their cousin Hannah, fed the many different animals, collected eggs from the chicken house each morning, and went to bed completely tuckered out each night! Yeah for grandparents being willing to keep them so busy! Thank you, thank you!
