Well, here it is, our Oyama family blog. We finally broke down and paid for a deccent internent connection so that it doesn't take five years to upload things. And isnce everyone I know blogs, I figure it's about time for me...but...I have yet to get a cell phone or an ipod (one step at a time right?)
So here's an update on our family for all you bloggers. Graham is almost 4 months and cute as can be! (I am totally not biased right?) He started getting 2 teeth this week- crazy huh? Teeth at 4 months, but Lucy was the same way- she had 8 teeth at 6 months. Graham seems to be handling it okay, a tad fussy but nothing a little tylenol wont solve.
Carson is almost 3 and is all about spiderman, batman and any other superhero including the prophet President Monson (he eats all his dinner so he "can be strong and big like president Monson). His vocabulary is insane, he told me yesterday after I got ready for church, "Momma, you look marvelous." Wow! doesn't everyone need to be told that everyday?! And he says things like that all the time- he just picks up those big words all the time.
Lucy is almost 5 and can not wait to start school. She loves to learn and wants to be a "people doctor, a animal doctor, a pet store keeper, and a mom" when she grows up. She loves all the disney princesses and believes they are all real and live at Disneyland. She constatly reads books and writes things in her many different notebooks.
I spend my time feeding, changing, burping, putting to sleep, rocking, playing games, reading books, kissing booboos, teaching preschool etc. Then...with the rest of my free time I have been going through our house one rrom at a time trying to organize and "de-junk" our house before we move. Wow! I never realized how much junk we really have. I tell you what...we are going to have one huge garage sale before we leave.
Todd got into a dental residency program in Boise that starts mid June, so yes, we will be moving for a year. Lately he is busy with school trying to get all his requirements done and take all the right tests and fill out all the paperwork for this program etc...he is a pretty busy fellow.
We are excited to be almost done with school (especially Todd) and onto "real" life. But we are also dreading the whole act of moving...all that packing...aaargghh! Oh well the de-junking will help that out some. Anyway thanks for reading and I hope I hear from all of my blogging friends soon!

Hey! How fun! Luckily Boise isn't too far away. I have family in Caldwell and they love it there. The kids are adorable! Oh, and I don't have a cell phone either. Someday...
Love it Mandy. Thanks for sharing and as you can see I'm "following" you now. Come to my blog and follow me too. dieztrio.blogspot.com
How do I invite others to follow mine? I like how yours is set up within the page. I will try to figure it out, but let me know if you have suggestions. So great to see your babies. So cute! And congrats to Todd and best of luck in Idaho!!!
XOXOX,
Alisa
Hi Mandy- I'm so glad you joined the bloggers. The Florida Barnesyard has kept me entertained. And, I SEE a hint of asain in the almond eyes....Mateo called them "nut" eyes :-) Enjoy Idaho...it's the HOME STRETCH!!! Love, Aunt Kathrin
